The Questions We Hear Most

What New Cat Parents Always Ask

New cat parents tend to worry about the same handful of things. Here are the big ones — and the short version of what we tell them.

How much should I feed my kitten?

Free-feed for the first few weeks so they settle in, then move to set meal times. Kitten food until about one year — it's richer for growing bodies.

Why won't my cat use the litter box?

One litter box per cat, plus one spare, in a quiet spot away from their food. Scoop daily — most "litter problems" are really cleanliness problems.

How do I introduce a second cat?

Go slow. Keep the new cat in a separate room first, swap their scents, then do short supervised meetings. Rushing it is the #1 mistake.

Still Stuck? Just Ask.
